MNR HOMOEOPATHY MEDICAL COLLEGE & HOSPITAL
College is spread in the area of 110 acres in the Greater Hyderabad and is facilitated with safe and secured Boys and Girls Hostel, Auditorium, Gymnasium for boys and girls, Cafeteria. College is providing transport facility from allcorners of Greater Hyderabad for the staff and students who reside in the metropolitan city. College is having well furnished 5 lecture halls with Projectors and Audio-Visual aids for effective teaching and learning. College Library is having a good number of books in all the departments of Homoeopathy along with the allied subjects. College Library has a Digital Library for the students to get updated with the latest happenings in the medicine. College Library in the MNR campus is connected with Central Library where thousands of books are issued for the purpose of reference.
Anatomy Department
Anatomy Dept is facilitated with its own Departmental museum, 5 Dissection tables, Dead bodies along with Anatomy Act, and Histology slides for the students to have proper understanding of the human body. All Charts, Models and Instruments are provided for effective teaching/learning.
Physiology including Biochemistry Dept
Separate Physiology and Biochemistry Labs is provided with all the latest Infrastructure, Equipments & Chemicals, Charts and models for the students to have a proper understanding of functions of the human body.
Homoeopathic Pharmacy Department
Pharmacy dept has the entire Infrastructure with the latest Instruments, Herbal garden, Alcohol with permission of the State Excise Dept, Equipments, and Chemicals & Charts for the students to have a sound knowledge of the preparations of Homoeopathic Medicines. The dept is having a unique Pharmacy museum with good number of specimens of Plant, Animal, Mineral, Chemical and other sources.
Organon of Medicine, Homoeopathic Philosophy & Psychology Department
Have the Charts in relation to the History of Medicine, Pioneers in Homoeopathy, Organon of Medicine and Homoeopathic Philosophy for the students to understand Homoeopathy and assimilate homoeopathic principles in its very sense
Homoeopathic Materia Medica Dept
Have the Charts on Homoeopathic Drug Pictures, Models, Various Group Studies of Homoeopathic Drugs for the students to have better learning and easy memorizing of homoeopathic drugs.
Pathology & Microbiology Department
The department is having the charts in relation to Pathology, Parasitology and Microbiology. Department has well equipped practical lab with all latest instruments and microscopes for better understanding of practicals. The departmental museum consists of specimens, slides & models and the infrastructure including departmental library for the students to have better learning of human pathology.
Forensic Medicine & Toxicology Department-
Having the charts in relation to forensic medicine and toxicology. Department has a well furnished museum with all the weapons, equipments, charts, models, poisons and the infrastructure with departmental library for the students to have better learning of subject.
Surgery and Homoeopathic Therapeutics Department-
Having the charts in relation to General surgery, Ophthalmology, ENT, Orthopaedics and homoeopathic therapeutics. It has the equipments, models, specimens and the infrastructure for the students to have better learning of the subject.
Obstetrics and Gynaecology Department
Having the charts and models in relation to female reproductive system and child birth. Department is well equipped with different instruments and having museum with specimens. The infrastructure consists of demonstration room and departmental library for the students to have better learning of the subject.
Community medicine Department
Community medicine department is facilitated with its own departmental museum. The department is having models, charts & specimens to easy perception of community medicine. The infrastructure of the department is with nutritional samples, contraceptive devices, disinfectants, vaccines, books and journals related to community medicine for the students to have a better understanding of community health.
Case Taking & Repertory Department
Repertory department is well facilitated with computer lab comtaining 6 computers with 5 homoeopathic software’s like ZomeoLAN, Hompath Firefly, Similimum ultra, Radar Opus & Complete dynamics. For better understanding of students, the department consists of Synoptic card repertory, Roy’s card repertory, coin playing techniques of Repertory and various charts. Departmental library has various repertories and books for better learning of subject. Departmental staff has contributed many books, research papers & articles to standardize subject teaching.
Medicine and Homoeopathic Therapeutics Department.
The main objective of the department is acquire and access adequate clinical knowledge, recent medical knowledge and good clinical skills. Department has a large library with proper essential reference books, a good number of instruments, models and specimens for demonstration. It carries out extensive clinical training programs for the students which includes both IPD and OPD training. Complete general and systemic examination of patients is been taught. The students are also trained about x-ray, ultrasounds, ECG, in respect to normal and abnormal interpretations. The department conducts on regular basis CMEs and is actively involved in clinical research. Undergraduate teaching involves lectures, bedside clinics, and student’s seminars.
